An experience of a lifetime!
Our fantastic adventure with Trips to Morocco, a small family business, left us with memories that will last forever! Doing our intensive research we decided that this was the best Tour Group for us. The Head of the company, Mohammed was very flexible, helpful and accommodating to any changes as we went along on the15 day agenda that we wanted. Any problems were quickly dealt with. The diverse landscape left us in awe. Morocco is not only a photographer’s dream that beauty can be found in so many ways but, a glimpse into the amazing and interesting, friendly people and their vast culture. My wife and I travelled with two single friends and were so fortunate to have, in our view, the two best – Driver, Ali and Hmad the Tour Guide. Our wonderful experiences lay at their feet. We felt safe with Ali’s excellent driving skills, especially through the mountains and busy cities. Hamid was a wealth of knowledge and didn’t hesitate to give information and answer our many questions. These two made our journey into this magical land with their care and attention to details. They steered us to the source of places where we wanted to buy dates, figs, walnuts, rugs, ceramic and to the restaurants they thought we would enjoy. We also found good restaurants on our own. They were good sports as they listened to our terrible singing and joined in. So much laughter filled the car along with interesting stops that made the long distance between some destinations seem like a flash. We were able to see and do things that only in a small group and an A.C. SUV gave us. A big “THANKS” to you two! We started in Casablanca then to Rabat, Meknes, Chefchaouen then Voloublis, Fes, Merzouga staying at Dunes Luxury Camp, before heading to Dades Fossil Valley, Tondra Gorge, Ouarzazate, Essaouira, then staying 3 nights in Marrakech. The Markets, Souks and Medinas were quite interesting. The Atlas Mtns and Gorges were spectacular! We went off road to experience another way of Berber and Nomad life that are still being practiced. We visited some living in a tent and a cave and were generously offered fresh bread and mint tea. Both very humbling experiences making us turn our eyeballs into what we take for granted back in our country. As much as we thoroughly enjoyed the Medinas and Souks we were also aware and respectful of the difference in the economic conditions of the land. Yet, we felt safe and welcomed everywhere. In Fes we were handed off to a great local Guide, Hamad, who gave us the history and an interesting walking tour of the city. In Voloublis a local Guide, who took us around a Roman Ruins. In Marrakesh we did a walking tour with Amhad. All excellent Guides, which were specially chosen by Mohammed. We stayed mostly in Riads and as some one said, “they were different in styles, some quirky, some with problems but it all added to the charm”. We spent two days at the Dunes Luxury Camp riding camels into the magnificent golden sands of the Sahara desert for sunset viewing (opted out of early sunrise). After eating delicious breakfasts and tagines for supper made by Mohammed, then evenings spent around the fire and under the beautiful bright stars listening and joining in to the Berber music and playing on the bongos, clappers and other instruments. Enjoyed Mohammed playing his guitar. He and the others there at the camp provided a very happy, friendly atmosphere and even tied on our headscarves for us! The tents were truly luxurious! We definitely would come back and use TRIPS TO MOROCCO with our two same special guides, as we trust Mohammed heading up this Fantastic Company and crew. So many highlights e.g. The Desert experience and visiting the Nomads and their life styles. A word of suggestion for Mohammed (Tour owner) is to be more involved consistently with administration and correspondence. He is great when we phoned from Canada or using WhatsApp BUT, slow on the use of email, which has the details on the actual tour itinerary by day, invoicing, and just answers to our questions before the trip. This did cause an issue while on the tour, but the issue was quickly resolved to everyone’s satisfaction. By using email these issues would never of occurred. Maybe he needs a secretary? Trip Advisor Reviews convinced us to use this company, even with these issues. The four of us left this beautiful, part of the world with sad hearts and at leaving our two new best friends, Ali and Hamid who made our time in Morocco better than being with close family members and not like tourists. Will truly miss them! We strongly recommend this Tour Company if you want to experience wonderful lifetime, memories.

A journey across Morocco to remember!
TripsToMorocco was recommended to us by close friends. So I did not hesitate to contact TTM to work out an itinerary that suited our timeline and our comfort level. We had 12 days across the country visiting some extraordinarily beautiful places. The unforgettable 2 nights in the sand dunes in the desert near Erfoud were one of the highlights of the trip. Accommodation in riads was always great and often engaged us in insightful conversations with our hosts. Youssef, our driver, was always cheerful and funny and very attentive to our road comfort and our luggage – also kind enough to invite us to his home for a fabulous home made couscous! But most of all our exploration of this beautiful country was made very special by our absolutely dedicated and lovely guide Mbarek (not Youssef’s son!) who was very caring and informative on the local culture and always attentive to our needs along the way. We feel grateful, privileged and delighted to have acquired a good understanding of this fascinating country through him and thank everyone else who contributed to our experience. F, P and I.
